2,000 Year Old Ancient Greek Fortress Discovered in Crimea, Russia

Footage filmed on Wednesday shows parts of an ancient fortress believed to be more than 2,000 years old, being worked on by archaeologists from the Russian Academy of Science (RAS) Archaeology Institute, near the small Crimean village of Gornostaevka. Archaeological findings at the site date back to the period when ancient Greeks inhabited the peninsula, with the fortress thought to have been constructed by Greek colonial forces.
